  6. This folder contains the compiled guide file for the example source files shown in "Appendix C: SurfWriter and Its Source Files" of the Apple Guide Complete: Designing and Developing Onscreen Assistance book that accompanies this CD.

  10. • SurfWriter Guide -- the compiled guide file (you can examine this guide file
  11.                                  using Guide Maker or by launching SimpleText from this folder)
  12.                                  Do not copy SurfWriter Guide to your local disk; it must be run
  13.                                  from this folder on the CD.
  14. • SurfWriter Guide.Sym -- the symbol file for the guide file
  15. • SimpleText -- launching SimpleText from this folder makes the SurfWriter Guide
  16.                        available from the Help menu of SimpleText
  17. • SurfWriter Scripts folder -- contains scripts that are referenced by SurfWriter Guide;
  18. • Sample Documents -- contains documents that SurfWriter Guide automatically opens
